Welcome to our lovely gite 'Kersidan' - Breton for ‘Place of Peace’. The gite is a converted stone walled barn, approximately 300 years old. It has been sympathetically restored and retains many original features such as exposed stonework and beams and has everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. It is set in beautiful gardens and is part of a small hamlet with only four other houses, surrounded by rolling farmland and woods. The cottage has its own secluded garden and apart from the main house there are no immediate neighbours.
Kersidan is ideally situated for exploring Brittany and its many historic towns and villages. The spectacular Southern Brittany coast with its glorious beaches and quaint fishing ports is within easy access.
Kersidan sleeps two guests comfortably in a kingsize bed and there is an additional double sofabed in the living area. A cot and high chair are also available. The gite is ideal for couples.
The gite has a shower room and toilet upstairs and a luxury bathroom. It features a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, washing machine and a table seating four. There is a television providing UK and French channels and a DVD player. Free Wi-Fi Broadband Internet access is available.
We have a satellite broadband system delivering faster Internet access at all times. It is a limited system and is not suitable for streaming and online gaming.
Our prices are fully inclusive. There are no extra charges for heating, electricity, bed linen, towels (excluding beach towels) and end of let cleaning. For rentals longer than 7 nights, a weekly linen change and clean is included.
NOTE FOR 2025 BOOKINGS: the house across the lane from ours is currently undergoing renovation and there are some building materials alongside the lane. There is very little noise from this work and it is not visible from the gite.

Bienvenue dans notre charmant gîte 'Kersidan' - Breton pour 'Lieu de Paix'. Le gîte est une ancienne grange en pierre reconvertie, vieille d'environ 300 ans. Il a été joliment restauré et a conservé de nombreuses caractéristiques d'origine telles que les pierres et les poutres apparentes et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour des vacances confortables et relaxantes. Il est situé dans de beaux jardins et fait partie d'un petit hameau avec seulement quatre autres maisons, entouré de terres agricoles et de bois. Le chalet a son propre jardin clos et à part la maison principale, il n'y a pas de voisins immédiats.
Kersidan est idéalement situé pour découvrir la Bretagne et ses nombreuses villes et villages historiques. La spectaculaire côte sud de la Bretagne avec ses magnifiques plages et ses ports de pêche pittoresques est facilement accessible.
Kersidan peut accueillir confortablement deux personnes dans un lit king-size et il y a un canapé-lit double supplémentaire dans le salon. Un lit bébé et une chaise haute sont également disponibles. Le gîte est idéal pour les couples.
Le gîte dispose d'une salle d'eau et de toilettes à l'étage et d'une salle de bain luxueuse. Il dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée avec four électrique, cuisinière à gaz, micro-ondes, lave-linge et une table pour quatre personnes. Il y a une télévision avec des chaînes britanniques et françaises et un lecteur DVD. Un accès Internet haut débit Wi-Fi gratuit est disponible.
Nous avons un système à large bande par satellite offrant un accès Internet plus rapide à tout moment. Il s'agit d'un système limité et ne convient pas au streaming et aux jeux en ligne.
Nos prix sont tout compris. Il n'y a pas de frais supplémentaires pour le chauffage, l'électricité, le linge de lit, les serviettes (hors serviettes de plage) et le ménage de fin de location. Pour les locations de plus de 7 nuits, un changement de linge hebdomadaire et propre est inclus.
REMARQUE POUR LES RÉSERVATIONS 2025: la maison située en face de la nôtre est actuellement en rénovation et des matériaux de construction sont présents le long de la route. Ces travaux sont très peu bruyants et ne sont pas visibles depuis le gîte.
